In partnership with NoveFeed, the team along with the students were able to establish a testing facility in the production of larva using Black Soldier Fly (BSF). The training entailed the building of nests, extraction of eggs, feeding the larva and recolonising/repopulating the BSF. The main purpose of this initiative is create the protein source of animal/fish feed using organic food waste. Our objective would be towards creating a total of 30-50 tones of protein per month to cater towards the needs of large feed manufacturing industrialists.
