Mama Bora has truly proven herself as an inspirational leader in the BSF farming project initiated by us at TOIO. With unwavering dedication and passion, she has not only taken over the project but also organised an impactful three-day training program. This initiative was aimed at educating and guiding other women and youth-owned groups on the fundamentals of getting started, understanding market dynamics, and recognising the vast scope for growth in this sector. Mama Bora’s remarkable leadership has led to the formation of an additional eight groups, effectively expanding the reach of sustainable cooperatives. Her commitment to empowering others and her vision for scaling towards long-term sustainability in agriculture are commendable, and we are proud to have her as a driving force in this transformative journey.
